Alkira Residential Home Renovations

MASH Rotary was approached to fund an upgrade of a residential building of the disability support charity Alkira at Brookfield Drive in Box Hill North in 2018. This upgrade involved a significant upgrade of the premises and a budget of $30,000 was quoted. MASH, Whitehorse Rotaract and Alkira combined to contribute $15,000 which was matched by a Dick Smith Compassionate Grant through RAWCS. The work has now been completed. Alkira and its residents are delighted with the outcome.

RI President - GORDON McINALLY

Gordon McInally is president 2023-24 of Rotary International. He was educated at the Royal High School in Edinburgh and at the University of Dundee, where he earned his graduate degree in dental surgery. Gordon was chair of the East of Scotland branch of the British Paedodontic Society and has held various academic positions.
