Our 2nd annual Trivia night was held on 22 October 2016. A fantastic night was enjoyed by 120 members and friends and most came dressed in something purple which was the theme of the evening (purple is the colour of the polio vaccine used for children).
During the night there were silent auctions, heads and tails, buy an answer, take a chance envelopes and raffles. A sum of just over $5,500 was raised. The funds will be distributed to local projects (70%) and to the eradication of polio (30%).
Thanks to the City of Whitehorse for allowing us to use the Box Hill Community Arts Centre free of charge. Thanks also to the many generous sponsors who helped make the night a success.
