Fruit Mince Pies

The selling of fruit mince pies has been a huge fundraiser over the years for the club.

Each year the club donates $1.50 per half dozen from sales by our club and other Rotary Clubs to a nominated charity and in the 2023 year this will be the End Polio Now campaign. In previous year’s these charities have included Disaster Aid Australia, the Deafness Foundation and Australian Rotary Health.

The mince pies have a very good reputation and when we set up a stall at the Whitehorse Farmer’s Market in November and December they practically sell themselves.

Breadstreet Bakery in Hamilton Street Mont Albert bake the pies and a big thank-you must go to David Winter who is the owner and is also a member of our club for his generous support of this project.
